Gum XIOM Vega Asia DF uses a hard version of foam "Carbo Sponge.", which they also used in the Vega Pro and the softer outer gum, as found on the Vega Europe.

The result is a fast offensive rubber with high control and a longer ball retention time, since the upper layer also features the Dynamic Friction technology, which provides a higher level of friction and thus increases control and rotation.

XIOM VEGA ASIA DF COVER

uses a new top layer "Hyper Elasto", with a special bubble-like structure that provides an excellent feel and a "trampoline" effect. The combination of this special black sponge and the excellent top layer gives the VEGA ASIA rubber incredible stability in all strokes, even at higher speeds.

Linear acceleration allows the player excellent control over the entire match. When playing at high tempo, the bubble structure together with the top layer provides extraordinary responsivity, allowing you to release a rotating ball and easily execute a topspin.

Dynamic friction technology is the result of the chemical composition in combination with the physical structure, which has several advantages over static friction. Namely, the new plastic balls used to slide more on the old rubber and thus lost some control. Vega Dynamic Friction technology improves grip, while preserving all the excellent properties of this rubber. Thus, a slightly softer rubber offers more spin and better control.
